With the increasing importance of the internet in the tourism sector, marketers and tour operators have begun to pay even more attention to the quality and effectiveness of their websites. The emergence of web 2.0 in the 21st century marked a turning point in the way travel companies interacted with travelers and marketed their products and services. Websites have become essential tourism advertising and marketing tools that allow companies to reach large audiences and generate greater interaction with customers.
