Abstract

Backgroup: Infection caused by a parasite called toxoplasma Gondi, which is found in cat feces and contaminated water. It can cause serious problems for pregnant women as well as people who have a weak immune system. It is also possible to become infected through transfusions or organ transplants from infected patients. Once inside the immune system, they penetrate mainly into cells of the skeletal muscle, heart, lymphatic tissue, brain, retina and placenta. Within the human body, they begin to divide rapidly at high speed and cause the appearance of symptoms on a rapid scal. Toxoplasma infection is often asymptomatic in healthy adults. However, serious illness and even death can occur after Toxoplasma gondii infection enters newborns, immunocompromised people with immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, patients receiving long-term corticosteroid therapy, patients with malignancies. hematological malignancies and transplant recipients.
